Positives: Good sequel, carries the story onwards, well written and leaves you wanting to well get back into it as soon as you put it down, which is a good thing yes?

Negatives: Sometimes cluttered, but on the whole a positive book

Book Description:  For someone who didn’t intend to wreck the solar system’s fragile balance of power, Jim Holden did a pretty good job of it. While Earth and Mars have stopped shooting each other, the core alliance is shattered. The outer planets and the Belt are uncertain in their new – possibly temporary – autonomy. Meanwhile, a single super-soldier attacks, slaughtering soldiers of Earth and Mars indiscriminately and reigniting the war. The race is on to discover whether this is the vanguard of an alien army, or if the danger lies closer to home.

Review: TO be honest (IMHO agh u hv gotta love txt spk eh? anyway..) the main beauty of this book is that it carries onwards with the story from the first book and that ITS A GOOD FIND to get a new author in the genre of Sci Fi. The writing and characters are good, perhaps

not as amazing as Leviathan wakes, but a pretty good page turner from a very promising new Author – I mean: Guns, Spaceships, Tech, Aliens, Battles – what more do you want? . Anyway a suitable partner to all your Asher, Reynolds and Banks books.

Out of ten: Ill call it a 8, enjoyable sequel and looking fwd to no.3… good work that man!
