Opportunity will get revived (possibly) maybe not.

There are moves to revive the now sleeping probe on Mars, although the window of opprtunity (sorry no pun intended) is closing more it seems to due to administration issues than technical. The boffind at NASA have given the erstwhile probe 45 days to recover, which as it turns out is not really that long and perhaps some more time would be more expedient. Scott Maxwell a former probe driver states: “If we do not hear back after 45 days, the team will be forced to conclude that the sun-blocking dust and the Martian cold have conspired to cause some type of fault from which the rover will more than likely not recover”.

There are also issues due to the season and degrading light levels – all of which are working against such a tight, interjected timeline.
